Aviva Labs Team Runs Tough Mudder Race to Raise Money for Wounded Warrior Project
July 14, 2012, Mount Snow Ski Resort, Mt Snow, VT
Tough Mudder events are hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle courses designed by former British Special Forces to test your all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie. To date, these events have drawn half a million participants in 2012 and raised more than $3 million for the Wounded Warrior Project. This event proved extremely challenging in the hill climbing, adding a trek to the summit of this ski resort along with dozens of other challenges such as log carries, electrical shocks, rope net climbs, and crawling through mud under barbed wire.
Aviva Labs President Mitch Bloom and National Business Director Brian Petersen competed to raise money for Wounded Warriors. Says Brian, “The only thing crazier than skiing down a black diamond was running up one.”
